Nick Beesley

Areas of specialism include: Personal taxation, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning, dealing with day to day accounting issues faced by small and medium sized owner managed businesses.

Nick Beesley

Profile

Nick graduated from Manchester University in 1973 and joined Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) Birmingham office as a trainee Accountant. He qualified in 1976 and progressed to senior manager with responsibility for the audits of a number of PLCs.

In the early 1980s he succumbed to the lure of the dark force (apologies to Star Wars fans) and went to work in industry. This duration of 10 years have him an invaluable insight into the practical issues and problems of an Accountant's life outside of the profession.

A new hope (further apologies) occurred in the early 1990s when he joined Lancaster & Co as a full time employee after a period of consultancy work with them. He eventually became an equity partner in 1993 and senior partner in 2005.

Nick's wealth of practical experience continues to prove invaluable to enable existing and new clients to deal with the ever changing complexities of their business and financial lives.
